Earning a certificate

Courses that include a certificate show this on the course page. To earn it, complete all required lessons. If the course includes a knowledge check or assignment, you must also pass the knowledge check with the required score and submit the assignment. Your certificate then becomes available in My Learning.

What the certificate means

The certificate is a certificate of completion. It confirms that you completed the learning activities of the named course. It is not an academic qualification, a university credit, a professional licence, or accreditation by Microsoft or any other organisation.

Certificate details

Each certificate shows your name as it appears on your Academy account, the course title, the completion date and a unique certificate ID. Please make sure your account name is correct before you download or print your certificate. You can save it as a PDF from your browser.

Verification

Employers and others may verify a certificate by emailing [email protected] with the certificate ID and the learner’s name. We will confirm whether the details match our records.

Corrections and withdrawal

If your name is wrong, contact us and we will help correct it. A certificate may be withdrawn if the course purchase is refunded or reversed, or if it was obtained through account sharing or other misuse.
