Who we are

NextGenTemplates Academy (academy.nextgentemplates.com) is operated by NextGenTemplates, India (“NextGenTemplates”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact: [email protected].

Information we collect

  • Account information: your first and last name, email address and a securely hashed password. We never see or store your password in readable form.
  • Purchase information: billing name, email, country, state, the optional GSTIN you enter for a business invoice, order number, amount, currency, payment status and the payment reference returned by the payment provider. Card, UPI, bank and PayPal account details are entered on Razorpay or PayPal and are not stored by the Academy.
  • Learning records: your enrollments, lesson progress, quiz answers and results, assignment submissions, practice-file downloads and certificate identifiers.
  • Messages: the details you provide through the contact form or by email.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser, device and access times recorded in normal server and security logs.

How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account and give you access to the courses you enroll in or buy.
  • To process payments, issue order confirmations and invoices, meet tax and accounting obligations and handle refund requests.
  • To save your progress, grade quizzes, record assignment submissions and issue certificates of completion.
  • To answer questions and provide learning and technical support.
  • To protect the Academy, prevent fraud and misuse, and enforce our Terms & Conditions, including the rule against account sharing.
  • To send important service messages about your account, orders or courses. We send marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Service providers we use

  • Razorpay processes payments in Indian rupees (INR) and PayPal processes international payments in US dollars (USD), including card payments. Each provider handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
  • Bunny.net (Bunny Stream) hosts and streams course videos. When you open a video lesson, your browser connects to Bunny’s servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address and browser details needed to deliver the video securely.
  • Hostinger hosts the Academy website and database. WordPress and WooCommerce run the website, accounts and orders.
  • Our email service delivers account and order messages.
  • We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it only with these providers, and only as needed to run the Academy, or where the law requires it.

International transfers

Our providers may process information outside India. Where this happens, we rely on the providers’ own safeguards for protecting personal data in line with applicable law.

How long we keep information

  • Account and learning records: for as long as your account remains active, so that your course access, progress and certificates stay available.
  • Orders, invoices and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require (currently up to eight years in India), even if you close your account.
  • Contact messages: for up to three years after the conversation ends.
  • Server and security logs: for a limited period, normally no longer than 90 days, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
  • When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

  • You can ask to access, correct or update your personal information, and to receive a copy of it.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and personal information. Records that we must keep by law, such as invoices, will be kept for the required period. Deleting your account ends access to your courses and certificates.
  • You can withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time, and you can change optional cookie choices through “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the GDPR, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
  • To make a request, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls, signed video links and protected downloads for enrolled learners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly on any security concern.

Children

The Academy is intended for adults and young people aged 18 or older. Learners under 18 should use the Academy only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who should make any purchase.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
